The care for welted leather footwear will depend on the type of leather, however, most welted footwear can be resoled by a decent cobbler. If your welted leather footwear gets wet, dry them gently with a cloth and leave them to air out. Do not place under a direct source of heat as this can damage the leather and welt stitching.
