Whether your first pair of raw denim or just the latest pair in a large rotation, the Wrangler 13MWZ is an absolutely unbeatable pair of beater jeans. Also known as the Cowboy Cut, this is a bootcut jean (bootcut, not flare) with one of the most flattering fits ever created. A high waist, a roomy ankle, and the raw denim equivalent of a BBL on the backside. An iconic style that hasn't changed much over the decades, this is an iconic piece of denim history and a must-have for its signature styling and its inevitable (but hard-to-get) fades.
The jean is made from Wrangler's famous non-selvedge Broken Twill denim, a zigzag weave invented in 1966 that prevented the garment from twisting when it went through the wash. First known as the 11MWZ, because it weighed only 11oz, the current model is a hefty 13oz fabric - and MWZ, if you were wondering, happens to stand for "Men with zippers."
Best of all, we've swapped out the cheap plastic Wrangler tag on the seat with a custom "Heddels" tag made with real leather and using a Wrangler-inspired western font.
