In the world of heritage clothing, the Chelsea Boot is somewhat under appreciated, with its formal roots often seeing it left to slimmer, more sleek silhouettes. But despite its courtly history, the Chelsea boot has been preferred as a work boot in some parts of the world such as Australia.
Grant Stone has found a healthy middle point in the boots rich heritage with their robust yet refined rendition of the Chelsea Boot. Made up in crimson Chromexcel leather from Chicago’s famous Horween tannery, these stompers come lined with Full-grain leather cow lining from Milwaukee. Each pair is sat upon a micro stud rubber outsole, and comes finished with a vegetable-tanned leather insole, and goodyear welt construction that allows the boot to be recrafted if needed.
