John Graham Mellor was the legal name of one Joe Strummer, the lead singer and guitarist for legendary British punk band The Clash. It takes some confidence to name your jeans after such an individual, but we think these are up to the moniker.
Strummer wore his jeans fitted but not as tight as you might imagine the godfather of punk rock. It’s a slim straight fit with a rise that’s lower on the hips and has a slight taper through the leg. It also has all the details we’ve come to love on Tellason jeans, made in San Francisco, half lined back pockets with that “Legal” red tab on the inside.
