Product Description
Trust us, we know it's a struggle to find good men's jewelry. Often too chunky or too dainty, it's hard to strike the right balance of elegance and function, of beauty and sexy butch-ness. Blœdstone makes gorgeous (and crucially) simple signet rings with a classic shape but a slight twist. Using only recycled solid silver and gold, each Blœdstone ring is made to order and set with a unique piece of a semi-precious stone.
In this case the stone is Pinolith, an extremely rare stone with only two known deposits in the whole world. Because of the high manganese content in the stone the Austrians call Märbelstein, much of the known deposit was ravaged by the Nazis during WWII to manufacture weapons. Melted down and destroyed for their sordid ends (and even before for European steel production in the 1800s), what remains of this beautiful stone has become extremely sought-after and rare. Looking much like white marble, the crystals are shaped like pinecones and require a great deal of finesse to cut.
If you don't know your ring size, you can order a ring sizer here to be sure. You want it to be a little difficult to take off, but remember, fingers swell over the course of the day, so be sure to measure late in the day (preferably when it's warm).
